Challenge: Using up excessive amounts of beauty products

Hi Everyone!

As some of you may know already, I will be moving to Colorado within the next 4 1/2 months {super excited :D } So on my way home I was thinking about the excessive amounts of makeup, skincare and hair products I currently own, use and don't use...lol. I'm not planning on carrying tons of stuff in my back seat while traveling to CO, so I've decided to challenge myself to use up as much as possible in these few short months I have left in Texas.

My Challenge:
I will do this for all my cosmetics, hair products and skincare products. For my makeup, I plan on reorganizing my storage containers and finding all the products that I haven't used in a while or that I don't really like....instead of throwing them away, I will start using as much of it as possible. After all, I did purchase all these products! I will apply the same rules to my haircare and skincare. If you would like to try this out, you can find cheap baskets that you can store the items you choose and place them in a location where you will see them. If you're like me....if I don't see, I won't use it; then this will work. I will place my haircare and skincare baskets on my bathroom sink/vanity to remind myself of why I'm doing this challenge. I haven't really set a time frame for this challenge. I will see how this goes for a month and then I'll blog about my successes and/or failures.

A video on my youtube channel will be up within the next week explaining this and showing you all the products I picked out to start. If you would like to try this, I challenge you to do this with me. Feel free to leave comments here, on YT channel or my formspring page. All links will be below.

My NARS sheer glow foundation routine/Review

Hey everyone. I uploaded a new video showing my current foundation products. I have finnaly decided to try the NARS sheer glow foundation. I am really liking this foundation. It provides a really nice finish and coverage. I know that people with oily skin tend to stay away from foundations that claim to have a glow/dewy finish because it just adds more attention to oily areas. No worries with the NARS sheer glow foundation. If you haven't already tried this foundation please do so. Another NARS product that I have been using is the loose powder. It comes in a pretty big box and you get a lot of product for your money. I love using this powder to set my foundation. It provides a very light coverage so you can layer it on top of the foundation and not have to worry about it looking caked on. I also use the neutrogena blemish concealer. It's a bit thicker than most concealers because of the acne solution that is in it. I like to use it underneath my eye because it covers the dark circles really well. I also use it to cover up blemishes that are a bit red. My last product that I use the Givenchy mat & glow sun visage face powder. It comes in a pretty compact and it provides a very light natural sheen to my skin. I absolutely love it. It's expensive so I use it sparingly. Below I'll put the name of the products with prices and where to buy them. Thanks for watching my videos and subscribing. I hope this video was helpful. See you in my next video.

NARS sheer glow foundation $42 (sephora or narscosmetics.com)
NARS loose powder $38 (sephora or narscosmetics.com)
Givenchy mat & glow sun visage face powder $53
Neutrogena blemish concealer $9 (drugstores)

Hey everyone! I uploaded a new video today. If you haven't watched it please do so. I'll put a link at the end of this post. As I do these tutorials and/or haul videos I would also like to include any dupes that I may know of that would be great substitutes for certain products. I feel like this would be helpful. I don't always use products that are still currently out in the market. Everyone knows about the infamous MAC cosmetics...if you're not one of the first lucky ones then unfortunately when products run out, that's it :/ So here's the list. Enjoy! Valentine's Day tutorial

Hey guys today I did a tutorial for a Valentine's Day look. Of course this is a daytime look and I may do a night time version of this look. If I don't then here are a few tips to transform the look from day to night......Add a darker grey color in the crease, add liquid liner on top of the already existing liner, add a little more blush in your choice of color and of course use a darker lipstick whether it is a darker pink or even a red color. I hope you all enjoy my video.

Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland

Sorry that I didn't get this up the same day I uploaded my video. If you haven't see my video, please check it out. So, Urban Decay has come out with another book of shadows! How exciting!! As you all already know the Alice in Wonderland movie comes out next month in 3D. I am really loving this palette. What I love the most is that if you don't get the chance to buy this limited edition palette before it's gone....you have no worries. You can still purchase all of the colors separately from the permanent line. I think is this pretty awesome because like other cosmetic lines.....items are limited edition which means limited quantities. And once they're gone, you can't find those products anymore unless you go on ebay. I wouldn't recommend Ebay for buying this new book of shadows. Someone on Ebay was selling it for $71 plus shipping when the palette really only costs $52. Ebay is a last resort for products....FYI you will be paying more than usual. I want to write the list of colors you get and give ya'll the permanent name for each color as well. I'm not sure if it is available on Sephora's website just yet. But I do know people have already purchased this palette in advance straight from Urban Decay. People are now starting to receive there orders. So hurry before it's too late!! 6 eyeshadows have glitter and the rest are very frosty or shimmery! I hope this was helpful. Enjoy your Alice in Wonderland book of shadows.

Colors/Names/Description:

*Underland (also known as Flash)- it's a beautiful jewel tone purple
*Alice (also known as Painkiller)- it's a beautiful aqua blue tone
*Oraculum ( also known as Baked)- pretty golden color
*Queen (also known as Last Call)- burgandy/plum color
*Chessur (also known as Chopper)- peachy tan color with glitter
*White Rabbit (also known as Polyester Bride)- frosty white with glitter
*Wonderland (also known as Maui Wowie)- frosty beigey tan color with glitter
*Curiouser (also known as Grifter)- beautiful lilac with glitter
*Muchness( also known as X)- Frosty peachy gold color
*Mushroom (known as mushroom)- Frosty taupe color
*Midnight Tea Party (also known as Midnight cowboy rides again)- beige with lots of glitter
*Vorpal (also known as S&M)- frosty grey smokey color
*Absolem (also known as Homegrown)- frosty green color
*Drink Me, Eat Me (also known as Sin)- frosty pinky color
