Hello everyone!! It's time for my 4th makeup tip. I truly hope you all find these tips helpful. As always, if you have questions or comments please let me know either on my youtube channel or email. Now for this weeks tip........
Making your blush last all day:
If you are having trouble making your blush last throughout the day, no worries! I have the solution for this problem. Try layering....I know in the summer time layering doesn't seem ideal. If you have oily skin try using MAC cream color bases, these are much thicker than cream blushes. Once you have applied the cream color base than apply a sheer layer of powder blush. I'm sure you all are wondering...what if I have normal skin, dry skin or combination. For normal skin beauties, you are the lucky ones. You can wear a cream blush, cheek tints and powder blushes with ease. If you want a more intense blush look than try layering with a powder blush for you normal skin gals. For my dry skin girls, try using a moisturzing cream blush. Cream blushes add a bit more moisture than cheek tints. Wearing cream blushes gives your skin a natural glowing flush from within. For my combination skin girls, identify which areas of your face are normal, oily or dry. If you are oily in the cheek area, follow the same layering technique as my oily skin gals. For my combination girls, if your cheek area is normal than you can wear blush anyway you'd like. If you happen to have dry areas around the cheeks, try stippling cream blushes on with a duo fibre brush. For applying cream color bases, use a stiff angle blush brush. For tints or stains apply with your fingers in a circular motion and quickly!!
* Cream blushes have more moisture in them than tints or stains so be careful with the ones you choose.
*Cheek tints or stains are a much lighter form of blush. It's create for the first layer of color since most of these are extremely lightweight.
*Powder blushes are great for oily skin and if you have dry skin don't use these.
*Cream color base are a famous product by MAC but they are wonderful. I love to use them underneath my blush. These are much thicker and drier than cream blushes. Use sparingly!
