Morphe Brushes Single Eyeshadows Review & Swatches

Hello everyone!!

Today I'm so excited to share with you all some new eyeshadows that I got last week from Morphe Brushes. I ordered these colors while browsing the website for new makeup brushes. I had no idea they made single eyeshadows along with pre made eyeshadow palettes. I have never heard of Morphe Brushes until I saw a post on Instagram from them. To order products from Morphe Brushes click here to go to their website.

I was jumping for joy when I saw that their individual eyeshadows were only $2!! What??? Insanity right there :) Of course, my natural instincts were to click "add to cart" on every single shade available. But I gave into the little voice in my head saying "maybe they might not be too great, just order a few". Well that voice was completely wrong by the way, hahaha.

I was and still am blown away at how soft, creamy and pigmented these colors really are. I only ordered a few but no worries, I'll be ordering more very soon :) So let's get into the colors I ordered.....

#12- Pink Violet w/ Gold Pearl (frost)
#37- Boston Green (matte)
#80- Blue Green (matte)
#60- Soft Muted Beige Taupe (matte)
#11- Orange Copper (veluxe pearl)
#67- Dual-Intensity Peach/Pink (pearl)
#47- Golden Apricot (shimmer)
#16-  Soft Muted Rosy Brown (satin)

BITE BEAUTY Luminous Crème Lipstick Duos

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing with you my thoughts along with swatches of a few Bite Beauty Luminous Creme lipstick duos that I purchased from Sephora several weeks ago. I've tried a few things from Bite Beauty but I've never made my way around to the lipsticks... oddly enough! At this point, I'm wishing I would have started my experimenting with the lipstick range first.

The luminous creme lipsticks are incredibly smooth, pigmented and full on color. It's a 'what you see is what you get' type of product. The line of luminous creme lipsticks from Bite Beauty come in 31 different shades all available at Sephora both in store and online. Click here to order yours online :)
One of the main differences between Bite Beauty and other lipstick brands, is that Bite incorporates antioxidants just like the ones found in red wine into their lipstick formula. Also, another cool aspect of this brand is that their lipstick tips are shaped different according to the color which allows for a perfect application time after time.

So when I saw (around the check-out line) these lipstick duos, I knew I needed to jump on it. Unfortunately, the duos only come in the shades shown below. These duos are $12 a piece....awesome price :) Of course with most smaller packaged products, you don't get quite as much as a full sized product. But it's ok for me since I hardly go through an entire lipstick tube. I find these sizes are perfect for those who want to try some of the Bite Beauty lipsticks.

Swatches & final thoughts....

small enough to fit into a purse
without taking too much space

Vivid duo- Palomino & Violet

Overall, I am very impressed with these four lipstick shades. I would recommend these duos to anyone that is looking for great lipsticks. The price point is great because the quality is outstanding. I can definitely see these becoming my go to shades even as we approach the fall season. The finish of these lipsticks are very smooth and creamy and make your lips look fuller and soft.

I like how even the two neutral shades are opaque enough to conceal my natural lip color for a true nude look. Another thing to mention, the duo in Palomino and Violet (vivid duo) does leave a stained finish after the lipstick wears off. The stain on the lips is not crazy looking so no worries ;)

I hope this quick review was helpful. Click on the link provided above if you are interested in ordering these duos.

Amrezy Palette Review & Swatches

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going great so far :)

I always get excited when new eyeshadow palettes get released by makeup brands. Eyeshadows are one of my very favorite products to use and I own the most of. This new palette was a bit different for me since I hadn't heard any about it until a viewer of mine from YouTube mentioned it. Based on her inquiry, I decided to search for this palette online.

This palette was done in collaboration with Amrezy and Anastasia Beverly Hills (the eyebrow genius, in my opinion). I honestly didn't know until now who Amrezy was since I had never heard of her. Apparently, based on my Instagram search, she's a very popular makeup artist known by many. Her makeup photos on her Instagram are very pretty and very full on makeup.

Now onto palette details........

This Amrezy palette is an Ulta exclusive and retails for $29. It contains 10 eyeshadows ranging from various warm neutrals to two pops of color. Click here to order this palette from Ulta :)

Here are two photos showing you the colors as they appear indoors with my studio lights and outdoors with natural sun light. I wanted to include both since lighting can make the eyeshadows look slightly different.

Super cute packaging!

As you can see the colors have a good amount of pigmentation. They are smooth and buttery feeling which is great.  This palette can be a good everyday type of palette or for travel. I do have to mention that you are slightly limited with blending shades in this palette. For example,  I personally wouldn't go for LBD or Deep plum for everyday use since they are very dark colors, so that leaves me 2 warm slightly orange-y shades to work with. I feel because of this, this palette can be a bit limiting. Although the Caramel shade is pretty, I would have liked to see this a bit more tan with less orange-y tones.

This palette also includes a double ended brush, one side is an eyeshadow brush and the other is more like a pencil style brush. It's soft but I prefer using my other brushes for applying these eyeshadows. If this double ended brush was all I had while traveling for example, it'll be doable for creating looks. I'm usually not a fan of brushes or applicators included with palettes so this one isn't bad.

Overall, this is a pretty palette and I have used it a few times already. I do like the way these colors look with my brown eyes. The price is also affordable for 10 eyeshadows. If you have this palette, how do you like it?
